About Kelly Kerr
Kelly Kerr grew up in Southwest Washington, near Mt. St. Helens, where she was known as, “The little girl with the volcano-sized voice”. She began her classical vocal study at age nine and sang opera professionally until her mid 20’s when she left the genre to search for more fulfilling music. Her early, strict training and prolific performance experience allowed her to move effortlessly between grand opera, folk love songs, country, blues, Broadway and jazz vocal styles in diverse musical environments. She lives in Seattle where she teaches her own “Kelly Kerr Vocal Method”, an online vocal training program. She is also composing a multi volume song cycle for soprano, “The Siren Chronicles". You can find her online speaking and singing voice training at www.KellyKerrVocalMethod.com.
